2023 IWSA Scholarship Recipients
Chanel Williams
Chanel will be graduating from Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas. Chanel will be graduating at the age of 16 years old with 32 dual credits for college. She will be attending the University of Texas at San Antonio this summer to get a head start but will continue her college career at the University of Texas at Austin. Chanel plans to study business and political science to pursue a career in Business Law. “Being a voice for those that do not have one and helping others is one of my true passions,” she says.
Kinley Strey
Kinley will be graduating from Marion Highschool in Marion, TX. Kinley will be attending Texas Lutheran University in Seguin,TX and will be pursuing a degree in Business Administration. She hopes to one day to own her own Insurance company.
Sophie Garza
Sophie will be graduating from Wagner High School in San Antonio, TX. Sophie will be attending The University of Texas at Austin and is pursing a degree in Public Relations.
Troy Friesenhahn
Troy will be graduating from Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio TX. Troy will attend Texas A&M University in College Station where he will be a member of the Corps of Cadets and pursue a degree in Finance.
Yvonne Bell
Yvonne Camille Bell (“Camille”) is an Honors graduate of Great Hearts Northern Oaks in San Antonio, Texas. Camille will be attending Texas A&M University’s Honors College of Business, enrolling on the pre-law track. She then plans to attend law school on her path to becoming a corporate/transactional attorney.
